Today, groups of students from community studies formed to begin an archaeological dig. I guess you could say that today was basically a clean-up day. Students started their week off by chopping down trees, uprooting stumps, and clearing the undergrowth. Mallory Mitchell, leader of "The Denominators", reported the group findings of pottery and grave markings on the surface. The students ran into multiple animals such as a grub worm, turtle, and even a snake! Don't worry, the snake was taken care of, and no one was injured during this activity.
